Job Summary

We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Server to join our vibrant restaurant team. As a Server, you will be the friendly face that creates memorable dining experiences for our guests. Your role is essential in delivering exceptional customer service, ensuring food and beverage orders are accurately taken and efficiently served, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere. Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS, ensuring all special requests are noted
• Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality
• Process cash and card transactions efficiently, including sales transaction processing and handling tips with precision
• Upsell menu items, including wines, spirits, cocktails, and desserts to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in compliance with food safety regulations, including proper food handling and beverage service procedures
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and resolve any guest concerns promptly for optimal guest relations
• Use reservation management tools like OpenTable to assist with seating arrangements and waitlist management when necessary

Skills

• Extensive experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, and other restaurant POS platforms
• Strong knowledge of food industry standards, including food safety, sanitation, and proper food preparation techniques
• Proven ability in beverage service, cocktail mixing, wine knowledge, spirits experience, and drink presentation
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude and the ability to build rapport with diverse guests
• Effective time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
• Basic math skills for cash handling, processing payments accurately, and managing bills
• Previous restaurant or food service experience in fine dining or casual settings is highly preferred
• Knowledge of food industry terminology, restaurant operations, and hospitality best practices

Pay: $35.00 - $50.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20.0 – 35.0 per week
