Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with seating arrangements using reservation systems such as OpenTable or similar platforms.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders, utilizing POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS to ensure seamless transaction processing.
• Provide detailed menu descriptions, including wine and spirits knowledge, to upsell specials and enhance guest experience.
• Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation, sanitation, and safety protocols.
• Handle cash and credit card transactions efficiently, ensuring accuracy in sales processing and cash handling procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in compliance with food safety regulations; assist with food handling and basic food preparation as needed.
• Foster positive guest relations through attentive service, addressing inquiries or concerns promptly to ensure satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, especially in fine dining or nightclub settings.
• Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms.
• Culinary experience or beverage expertise including cocktail mixing, spirits knowledge, wine pairing, and drink service.
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to multitask efficiently during busy periods.
• Demonstrated sales skills with a focus on upselling beverages, food items, and specials to maximize revenue opportunities.
• Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling techniques.
• Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly demeanor and ability to build guest loyalty.
