Server

Overview
We are seeking a friendly, attentive Server to join our dynamic restaurant team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences and possess strong food and beverage knowledge. This role offers an opportunity to work in a lively environment, providing excellent service in both casual and fine dining settings. Previous experience in food service, hospitality, or related roles is preferred, along with familiarity with POS systems such as Toast POS.

Duties

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems like Toast POS and Micros POS
• Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
• Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation
• Manage guest relations by addressing inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring overall satisfaction
• Assist with food handling, sanitation, and basic food preparation as needed
• Clear tables, bussing dishes promptly, and maintaining cleanliness of the dining area
• Handle cash transactions accurately through cashiering functions and process payments efficiently
• Support host/host duties when necessary, including seating arrangements
• Follow all food safety protocols and sanitation standards to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff

Requirements

• Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly preferred; experience in fine dining or nightclubs is a plus
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Toast
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and courteously
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy periods
• Ability to upsell menu items confidently to maximize sales opportunities
• Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately
• Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling techniques
• Experience with food preparation or kitchen operations is advantageous but not required
• Ability to work flexible hours including nights; weekend availability is preferred
• Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
