Duties

• Greet guests warmly and assist with seating arrangements to ensure a positive first impression
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems
• Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality
• Upsell menu items including wines, spirits, cocktails, and specialty dishes to enhance guest experience and increase sales
• Process cash and credit card transactions accurately, ensuring proper handling of sales and tips
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards through proper food handling, bussing tables, and adhering to food safety protocols

Qualifications

• Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, including fine dining or casual settings
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally
• Ability to multitask effectively while managing time in a fast-paced environment
• Basic math skills for processing sales transactions accurately and handling cash confidently
• Previous experience with food safety practices, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling techniques
• Culinary or kitchen experience is advantageous but not required; a passion for the food industry is essential
