Duties

• Greet guests warmly and guide them to their tables with enthusiasm and professionalism
• Take accurate food and beverage orders, ensuring special requests are noted and fulfilled
• Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality
• Provide knowledgeable recommendations to upsell menu items and enhance the guest experience
• Ensure food safety standards are followed during food preparation, serving, and handling
• Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, tables, and service stations throughout shifts
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and resolve any issues efficiently
• Assist guests with questions about menu options, ingredients, or dietary restrictions
• Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve multiple tables efficiently

Requirements

• 1 Year Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant service preferred but not required; a passion for guest service is essential
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper handling procedures
• Basic math skills for processing payments accurately and managing tabs
• Ability to perform light food preparation tasks when needed and support kitchen staff as required
• Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication skills with a friendly, positive attitude towards guests and team members
• Ability to stand for extended periods, walk comfortably around the restaurant, and lift moderate loads when necessary
• Culinary or kitchen experience is a plus but not mandatory; willingness to learn is key

Pay: From £12.71 per hour

Expected hours: 15.0 – 40.0 per week
