Duties

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their visit
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
• Serve food, cocktails, spirits, wine, and beverages efficiently while maintaining presentation standards
• Process sales transactions accurately, including cash handling and credit card payments
• Upsell menu items and drink specials to enhance guest experience and increase sales
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all service areas, including bussing tables and food handling
• Assist with food preparation and kitchen communication to ensure timely delivery of orders
• Manage guest relations by addressing questions or concerns promptly and professionally
• Support opening or closing procedures, including cash reconciliation and POS system management
• Follow food safety guidelines to ensure proper handling of food and beverages at all times

Skills

• Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, with a focus on fine dining or nightlife preferred
• Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude
• Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced setting while managing time efficiently
• Knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail mixing, and beverage service techniques
• Basic math skills for processing transactions accurately and handling cash safely
• Experience with OpenTable reservations system is a plus for managing guest seating efficiently
• Familiarity with food safety standards and sanitation practices in the food industry
• Strong communication skills to coordinate with kitchen staff and team members
• Previous experience in nightclub settings or hospitality environments is advantageous
