Duties

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
• Process sales transactions efficiently while upselling menu items like cocktails, wines, and specialty drinks to enhance guest experience
• Serve food and beverages promptly, ensuring proper presentation and adherence to food safety standards
• Maintain cleanliness of tables, bar areas, and service stations by bussing and sanitizing as needed
• Assist with food handling, preparation support, and beverage service including spirits knowledge and cocktail mixing
• Use reservation platforms like OpenTable to manage bookings and optimize seating arrangements

Requirements

• Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, including fine dining or casual settings
• Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; familiarity with POS systems is preferred
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport and handle guest inquiries professionally
• Ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts while maintaining high-quality service standards
• Basic math skills for processing cash transactions accurately and handling sales efficiently
• Knowledge of wine, spirits, beverage service, and drink preparation techniques including cocktail experience
• Commitment to food safety, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
• Previous experience in hospitality roles such as host/hostess or cashier is a plus
