Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their visit
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
• Serve food, cocktails, spirits, wine, and beverages efficiently while maintaining presentation standards
• Process sales transactions accurately, including cash handling and credit card payments via POS systems like OpenTable or similar platforms
• Upsell menu items and drink specials to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
• Ensure food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures are followed at all times
• Assist with bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and supporting kitchen staff when needed to maintain smooth operations

Requirements

MUST HAVE WEEKEND AVAILABILTY

• Previous food service or restaurant experience preferred; fine dining experience is a plus
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms
• Knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail preparation, and beverage service techniques
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and handle diverse situations gracefully
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently in a busy environment
• Basic math skills for processing payments and managing tabs accurately
• Food safety certification or willingness to obtain one; understanding of sanitation standards in the food industry
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate loads as needed during shifts
