Job Summary

We are looking for a friendly and attentive Server to join our vibrant restaurant team. In this role, you'll be the face of our establishment, creating memorable dining experiences by providing excellent guest service and ensuring smooth service flow. Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm, offering recommendations and answering questions about menu items.
• Take accurate orders using POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Micros POS, ensuring all special requests and dietary needs are noted.
• Serve food and beverages efficiently while maintaining a friendly and professional attitude throughout the guest experience.
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties, while providing clear receipts and change.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the dining area, including proper food handling and sanitation practices.
• Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and resolve any issues promptly to keep service running smoothly.

Skills

• Previous food service or restaurant experience is highly preferred, especially familiarity with Micros POS or similar systems.
• Strong customer service skills with a genuine desire to make guests feel welcome and valued.
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively during busy hours.
• Knowledge of food safety, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures.
• Basic math skills for cashiering, including math for making change accurately.
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• A positive attitude with a team-oriented mindset focused on hospitality excellence.
