Server

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service and creating memorable dining experiences for our guests. As a Server, you will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring that all guests feel welcomed and valued.

Duties

• Greet and seat guests in a friendly and professional manner.
• Present menus, answer questions about menu items, and make recommendations to enhance the dining experience.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using the Aloha POS system.
• Upsell menu items to maximize sales opportunities while maintaining guest satisfaction.
• Deliver food and drinks promptly to tables while ensuring accuracy.
• Monitor guest needs throughout their meal, providing attentive service and addressing any concerns or requests.
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and providing change as necessary.
• Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and service stations.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation of orders and communicate any special requests or dietary restrictions from guests.
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations within the restaurant environment.

Experience

• Previous experience in the food industry is preferred, particularly in a restaurant or nightclub setting.
• Familiarity with cash handling procedures is essential.
• Experience with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus.
• Strong time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tables during busy shifts.
• Basic math skills for processing payments accurately.
• Excellent guest relations skills with a focus on customer service excellence.

Job Types: Part-time, Temporary

Pay: $14.75 - $55.00 per hour
