Duties

• Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm, providing detailed descriptions of dishes and drinks.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS system
• Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining a high level of customer service, including cocktail mixing and beverage presentation.
• Process sales transactions accurately, including cash handling, credit card processing, and upselling premium menu items like wines or spirits.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and adhering to food safety protocols.
• Assist with food preparation or garnishing when needed, demonstrating culinary knowledge and attention to detail.
• Support guest relations by addressing questions about menu items, offering wine or spirits recommendations, and ensuring overall guest satisfaction.

Requirements

• Proven experience in food service roles such as serving, bartending, or host/hostess positions within restaurant or nightlife environments.
• Demonstrated ability in upselling beverages like wine or spirits to enhance sales opportunities.
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude and the ability to handle multiple tables efficiently.
• Basic math skills for processing cash transactions accurately and managing sales totals.
• Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures.
• Ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends in fast-paced settings such as fine dining or nightclub environments.
• Strong communication skills coupled with time management abilities to ensure timely service delivery.
