Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Fine Dining Server to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide an exceptional, memorable dining experience for every guest in a high-volume, fast-paced environment. This role requires sales ability, a strong sense of urgency, meticulous attention to detail, and a deep understanding of fine dining service standards. The server acts as a guide, educating guests on our unique dining concept, upselling items that will enhance their dining experience and collaborating with a team of gauchos (meat carvers), bussers, and kitchen staff to ensure a seamless and unforgettable experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Guest Service Excellence:

• Greet and seat guests with a warm, welcoming demeanor, and provide an initial explanation of the Rodizio dining experience and our extensive salad bar.
• Anticipate guest needs and provide attentive, proactive service throughout the entire meal.
• Handle all guest inquiries and complaints with grace, professionalism, and a positive attitude, ensuring prompt and satisfactory resolution.

Menu and Beverage Expertise:

• Be prepared to answer any questions regarding the preparation methods, all menu items and potential allergens.
• Guide guests through the beverage menu, including an in-depth understanding of our wine list, cocktails, and spirits.
• Make informed recommendations for food and wine pairings to enhance the guest's dining experience, with a focus on suggestive selling to increase check averages.

Operational Duties:

• Take accurate and efficient orders for beverages, desserts, and any upgrade items, relaying them to the kitchen or bar staff clearly.
• Work in a collaborative, team-oriented environment, communicating effectively with gauchos and bussers to ensure the meat service and table maintenance are executed flawlessly.
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the dining area and service stations at all times, adhering to all food safety and sanitation standards.
• Perform opening and closing side work, including but not limited to, polishing glassware and silverware, restocking supplies, and preparing the dining room for service.

Financial Responsibilities:

• Accurately process guest payments using Toast POS system.
• Manage all transactions with precision.

Qualifications:

• Experience as a server in a fine-dining or high-volume restaurant.
• Proven track record of providing exceptional customer service and creating memorable guest experiences.
• Extensive knowledge or willing to learn of wine, spirits, and food pairings.
• Ability to work efficiently and with poise in a high-stress, fast-paced environment.
• Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent memory and attention to detail.
• A positive, professional, and team-oriented attitude.
• Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including nights, weekends (lunch/dinner) and holidays.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift/hold items up to 25lbs.
