Duties

• Greet guests warmly, present menus confidently, and assist with food and drink selections to enhance their experience
• Take accurate orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring all special requests and dietary needs are noted
• Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation
• Upsell menu items and promote daily specials to maximize sales opportunities
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities, while maintaining accountability for all payments
• Maintain cleanliness by bussing tables, resetting dining areas efficiently, and adhering to sanitation standards in food handling and food safety practices
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and resolve any guest concerns promptly

Requirements

• Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly preferred, but not required
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable for order processing and billing
• Strong customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude that creates memorable guest interactions
• Ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts while multitasking between serving, bussing, and assisting guests
• Knowledge of food safety protocols, sanitation standards, and proper food handling techniques
• Experience with culinary preparation or kitchen operations is a plus but not required
• Excellent communication skills along with basic math proficiency for accurate cash handling and check splitting
