We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic experienced server to join our team at Millburn Ramen. This is technically a mixed position, as a Server, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional guest experiences by delivering outstanding service and ensuring that all dining needs are met, as well as occasionally taking care of phone calls and packing orders. Starting wage is $15/hr (net wage, after tax dedication) and can be negotiatable depending on your experience. Wage will not include tips. Shifts will generally be from 5pm through 9pm.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests in a friendly manner, ensuring they feel valued and comfortable.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using the cash register or point of sale system.
• Provide detailed menu information, including daily specials, to assist guests in making informed choices.
• Serve food and drinks promptly while ensuring proper presentation according to restaurant standards.
• Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including sanitizing tables and utensils between guests.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery.
• Handle cash/card transactions accurately and responsibly, ensuring all payments are processed correctly.
• Address guest inquiries or concerns promptly to ensure satisfaction throughout their dining experience.
• Able to complete certain tasks such as side works and responsibilities independently.

Requirements

• Previous experience in food service or guest services is highly preferred but not required.
• Strong time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tables and requests simultaneously.
• Excellent communication skills with a focus on guest relations and satisfaction.
• Knowledge of culinary terms and food safety practices is a plus.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Familiarity with cash handling procedures and operating a cash register is beneficial.
• Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
