Job Overview

We are seeking a friendly and attentive Server to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, taking orders, and ensuring a memorable dining experience for our guests. This role requires a strong knowledge of sushi and Japanese cuisine, along with excellent communication skills and a professional demeanor. Previous sushi experience is highly preferred to effectively assist guests with menu selections and maintain high standards of service.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and present menus in a professional manner.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders, with a focus on sushi offerings, ensuring guest preferences are understood and accommodated.
• Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining presentation standards.
• Provide detailed information about menu items, especially sushi options, to assist guests in making informed choices.
• Ensure cleanliness and organization of the dining area throughout the shift.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders.
• Handle guest inquiries or complaints professionally, aiming for complete satisfaction.
• Follow all safety and sanitation policies to maintain a safe working environment.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Server in a restaurant setting is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of sushi and Japanese cuisine is required, including familiarity with different types of sushi and ingredients.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with guests effectively.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed.
• A professional appearance and positive attitude are essential for representing the restaurant’s brand.
