Job Overview

We are on the lookout for a friendly and attentive SERVER to join our vibrant restaurant team. In this role, you'll be the face of our establishment, ensuring guests have a memorable dining experience through excellent service and hospitality. Your responsibilities will include taking orders, serving food and beverages, and creating a welcoming atmosphere for all guests. The ideal candidate is enthusiastic about food and customer service, with a knack for multitasking and maintaining a positive attitude in a lively environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their visit.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Micros POS to ensure efficient processing.
• Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining presentation standards and ensuring guest satisfaction.
• Assist with food handling, sanitation, and proper food safety procedures to uphold health regulations.
• Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities.
• Manage cash handling and cashiering duties accurately, including processing payments and giving change.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate timely delivery of orders and address any guest requests or concerns promptly.

Qualifications

• Previous food service or restaurant experience is highly preferred, especially in serving roles.
• Familiarity with POS systems like Micros POS is a plus.
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours.
• Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and basic food handling procedures.
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor.
• Basic math skills for cashiering, bill splitting, and handling cash transactions accurately.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
