Server

Job Summary:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and customer-oriented Server to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional dining experiences to our guests, demonstrating excellent service skills and a friendly demeanor. As a Server, you will be responsible for taking orders, delivering food and beverages, and ensuring that guests have a pleasant dining experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet guests promptly and warmly as they are seated
• Present menus, answer questions, and make suggestions regarding food and beverage choices
• Take accurate food and drink orders and enter them into the POS system
• Serve food and beverages to guests in a timely and professional manner
• Ensure that orders are accurate and meet the guests’ expectations
• Check on guests periodically to ensure they are enjoying their meals and address any concerns
• Maintain knowledge of the menu, including daily specials, and be able to explain and upsell items
• Process payments accurately and efficiently
• Assist with the setup and breakdown of the dining area, including cleaning and resetting tables
• Follow health and safety regulations, ensuring a clean and sanitary dining environment
• Collaborate with kitchen staff and other servers to ensure smooth service
• Handle guest complaints and concerns with professionalism and tact
• Provide excellent customer service to enhance the dining experience and encourage repeat business

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a server or in a similar customer service role preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong multitasking and organizational abilities
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Basic math skills for handling payments
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
• Ability to stand, walk, and carry heavy trays for extended periods
• Flexible schedule, including availability on evenings, weekends, and holidays

Pay: $18.25 per hour
