Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly, attentive, and professional Server to join our dynamic team in delivering exceptional guest experiences. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food service, excellent customer relations skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. This role involves providing high-quality service in a fine dining or casual setting, ensuring guest satisfaction from order to completion. Prior restaurant experience and familiarity with POS systems are highly valued.

Duties

• Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable
• Upsell menu items and promote specials to enhance guest experience and increase sales
• Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining presentation standards
• Ensure proper food handling, sanitation, and safety protocols are followed at all times
• Clear tables efficiently and assist with bussing as needed
• Handle cash transactions accurately and perform cashiering duties
• Maintain cleanliness of service areas and ensure adherence to sanitation standards
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders
• Provide guest relations by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring overall satisfaction

Qualifications

• Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or hospitality industry preferred, especially fine dining or nightclub settings
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable is a plus
• Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and hospitality
• Excellent time management abilities to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
• Basic math skills for cash handling and billing accuracy
• Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, or nights as required by the establishment's schedule
• Experience in upselling and sales techniques to maximize revenue opportunities
• Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
