Job Summary

Saddle & Sirloin Club, Kansas City's Premier Equestrian, Shooting and Dining Club, is looking for energetic and experienced servers for both regular dining and special events.

Responsibilities

• Greet members and guests warmly and assist with seating arrangements, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere from the moment they arrive
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using a POS system ensuring all special requests are noted and fulfilled
• Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness
• Upsell menu items including cocktails, wines, spirits, and desserts to enhance the member experience and increase sales
• Maintain knowledge of food safety protocols, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures to ensure member safety
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate timely delivery of orders and address any member concerns promptly
• Assist with bussing tables, cleaning workstations, and supporting overall restaurant operations during busy periods

Qualifications

• Previous food service experience in a private club, restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred; fine dining experience is a plus
• Familiarity with POS systems
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage members positively and handle inquiries professionally
• Knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail preparation, and beverage service techniques
• Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and some holidays
• Culinary experience or food industry background is advantageous but not required; enthusiasm for learning is essential
