Duties

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their visit
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable
• Process sales transactions efficiently while handling cash, credit cards, and other payment methods with precision
• Upsell menu items including cocktails, wines, spirits, and specialty dishes to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales
• Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation
• Assist with food handling, prep support, bussing tables, and maintaining cleanliness in dining areas
• Provide knowledgeable recommendations on wine pairings, cocktail options, and menu items based on guest preferences

Qualifications

• Previous food service or restaurant experience in fine dining or casual settings is preferred
• Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS; experience with OpenTable is a plus
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and energetic demeanor
• Ability to manage time effectively in a busy environment while multitasking seamlessly
• Basic math skills for processing transactions accurately and handling cash safely
• Knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail preparation, and beverage service techniques
• Food safety certification or willingness to obtain necessary sanitation training prior to start date
• Experience with food industry standards including food handling, sanitation practices, and guest relations
