Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms
• Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining presentation standards and ensuring guest satisfaction
• Process sales transactions efficiently, including cash handling and credit card payments
• Upsell menu items such as wines, spirits, cocktails, or specialty dishes to enhance the guest experience
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, resetting service stations, and adhering to food safety protocols
• Assist with food preparation, beverage mixing (including cocktail service), and food handling as needed
• Support guest relations by addressing questions or concerns promptly and professionally

Experience

• Previous food service experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred, especially in fine dining environments
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable
• Knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail preparation, and beverage service enhances your ability to upsell and elevate guest experiences
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude that fosters guest loyalty
• Basic math skills for processing transactions accurately and managing cash handling responsibilities
• Experience with food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures is essential
• Prior host/hostess or bussing experience is a plus but not required; a passion for hospitality is key
