Job Summary

The Chef's Hut is looking for a friendly and dependable Server to provide attentive service during busy breakfast and lunch hours. This position is responsible for taking accurate orders, delivering food promptly, maintaining clean tables, and creating a welcoming experience for guests.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and provide friendly table service
• Take food and beverage orders accurately
• Enter orders into the POS system and communicate special requests
• Deliver breakfast and lunch items efficiently
• Check on guests throughout their meals and respond to requests
• Process payments and handle cash or card transactions
• Keep tables, dining areas, and service stations clean
• Refill beverages and restock condiments, utensils, and supplies
• Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure order accuracy
• Assist with opening, closing, and general restaurant duties

Qualifications

• Previous server or restaurant experience preferred
• Friendly and professional customer-service skills
• Able to work efficiently during busy breakfast and lunch periods
• Comfortable using a POS system and handling payments
• Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
• Strong communication and attention to detail
• Able to stand and walk for extended periods
• Morning and weekend availability preferred

The Chef's Hut is a long-running Boise breakfast and lunch restaurant serving American-style comfort food. The restaurant has operated from its South Cole Road location for decades and focuses on made-to-order breakfast and lunch service.

Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30.0 per week
