Amendment is a new dining experience coming to downtown Sturgis, built around live-fire cooking, thoughtful drinks, and purposeful hospitality.

Guided by fire and fueled by hospitality, Amendment is a testament to the joy of gathering. Our goal is to create a restaurant where exceptional food and drink feel exciting without being intimidating, and where every guest feels genuinely welcomed.

We are building our opening team and looking for Servers who love taking care of people, are excited to learn, and understand that great service is about much more than taking an order.

The Role

Servers at Amendment will guide guests through the entire dining experience. You’ll develop a strong understanding of our food, wine, spirits, and cocktail programs and use that knowledge to help guests discover something they’ll love.

We’re looking for people who can provide polished, attentive service while still being warm, genuine, and approachable.

Responsibilities include:

• Welcome guests and provide attentive, knowledgeable service throughout their experience
• Develop a strong working knowledge of our food, wine, cocktail, and spirits programs
• Guide guests through the menu and confidently make recommendations
• Accurately enter and manage orders using the restaurant POS system
• Coordinate closely with bartenders, support staff, hosts, and the culinary team
• Maintain clean, organized, and properly set tables and service areas
• Anticipate guest needs rather than waiting to be asked
• Follow responsible alcohol service standards
• Participate in pre-shift meetings, tastings, training, and continuing education
• Help create a calm, professional, team-oriented dining room

Who We’re Looking For

Previous upscale or full-service restaurant experience is preferred, but attitude, curiosity, and hospitality matter just as much to us as your résumé.

Compensation: Hourly wage + tips
Schedule: Evening and weekend availability required
Location: Downtown Sturgis, Michigan

Pay: $23.35 - $28.12 per hour

Expected hours: 30.0 – 40.0 per week
