Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such Toast
• Upsell menu items including Japanese wines, spirits, and specialty dishes to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales
• Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining proper food handling and sanitation standards
• Maintain cleanliness of tables, bar areas, and service stations through bussing and sanitation practices
• Assist in food preparation or setup when needed, supporting kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations
• Provide expert knowledge on wine, spirits, and food safety to educate guests and elevate their experience

Qualifications

• Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, including fine dining
• Familiarity with POS systems
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to build guest relations and handle diverse needs effectively
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy hours
• Basic math skills for processing sales transactions accurately
• Food safety certification and understanding of sanitation standards in the food industry
• Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays in a fast-paced environment
