Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly, present menus, and provide expert recommendations on food and beverage options.
• Take accurate orders using POS systems .
• Serve food and beverages promptly, ensuring proper presentation and quality.
• Process sales transactions efficiently while handling cash, credit cards, and other payment methods with precision.
• Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities through friendly suggestions.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all service areas, including food handling and beverage stations.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and address guest needs proactively.

Skills

• Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, especially in fine dining or high-volume settings.
• Strong knowledge of POS systems .
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport and handle guest inquiries professionally.
• Culinary experience or food preparation knowledge is a plus for understanding menu components.
• Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced setting while multitasking seamlessly.
• Knowledge of beverage service techniques.
• Basic math skills for processing payments accurately and managing tabs efficiently.
