The ideal candidate will have a passion for food service, excellent guest relations skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. This role involves taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring customer satisfaction in both casual and fine dining settings. Previous restaurant experience and familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, and OpenTable are highly valued. A strong focus on food safety, sanitation, and hospitality standards is essential to deliver top-tier service to our guests.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive customer service throughout their dining experience
• Take accurate orders using POS systems like Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable
• Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining presentation standards
• Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
• Handle cash and process payments accurately through POS systems
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of tables, service stations, and dining areas
• Assist with bussing tables and resetting for new guests as needed
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and sanitation procedures
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders
• Address guest inquiries or concerns professionally to foster guest satisfaction and loyalty

Skills

• Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, including fine dining or nightclub settings
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, and OpenTable
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests courteously and professionally
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
• Ability to upsell menu items effectively while maintaining a friendly demeanor
• Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately
• Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
• Experience with food preparation or kitchen operations is a plus but not required
• Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
• Previous host/host or bussing experience is advantageous but not mandatory
