Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and guide them to their tables with a friendly, professional demeanor
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable
• Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality
• Upsell menu items including cocktails, wine, spirits, and specialty dishes to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales
• Process cash and credit card transactions accurately while handling cash safely and responsibly
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all service areas including tables, bar, and service stations
• Assist with food preparation, bussing tables, and supporting kitchen staff during busy periods
• Provide knowledgeable recommendations on wine pairings, cocktail options, and menu items based on guest preferences
• Ensure food safety protocols are followed diligently to uphold health standards
• Foster positive guest relations by addressing inquiries promptly and resolving any concerns with professionalism

Experience

• Previous food service experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is highly preferred
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable is advantageous
• Experience in fine dining environments or nightclubs is a plus
• Knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail mixing, and beverage service enhances your ability to upsell effectively
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during peak hours
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude and attention to detail
• Basic math skills for processing transactions accurately
• Food handling certification or food safety training is desirable but not mandatory
