To provide friendly, efficient and professional customer service, ensuring an excellent dining experience and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and customer care.

Main Responsibilities

• Welcome customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Show customers to their tables and provide menus.
• Explain menu items, specials and drinks when required.
• Take accurate food and drink orders.
• Enter orders correctly into the POS system.
• Serve food and beverages promptly and professionally.
• Check on customers during their meal to ensure they are satisfied.
• Clear and clean tables efficiently.
• Reset tables to the required restaurant standard.
• Process customer bills and payments accurately.
• Handle cash and card payments responsibly.
• Answer customer questions and deal with complaints politely and professionally.
• Communicate customer requests and special requirements to the kitchen and bar team.
• Follow food hygiene, health and safety procedures.
• Maintain a clean and organised front-of-house area.
• Restock menus, cutlery, napkins, glasses and other service items.
• Assist with opening and closing duties.
• Work closely with kitchen, bar and management staff.
• Follow the restaurant’s uniform and personal hygiene standards.
• Complete cleaning duties according to the restaurant cleaning schedule

Skills & Requirements

• Previous restaurant or customer-service experience is preferred.
• Good communication and customer-service skills.
• Friendly, polite and professional attitude.
• Ability to work well under pressure.
• Ability to work as part of a team.
• Good attention to detail.
• Reliable and punctual.
• Basic knowledge of food hygiene and allergen awareness.
• Ability to handle cash and card payments accurately.
• Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends and holidays.

Pay: £12.71-£13.50 per hour
