Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and guide them to their tables with a welcoming attitude
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems , ensuring special requests are noted and fulfilled
• Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness
• Upsell menu items including wines, spirits, cocktails, and desserts to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales
• Process cash and credit card transactions accurately, including handling cash handling procedures and sales transaction processing
• Maintain knowledge of menu offerings, including wine knowledge and cocktail recipes, to assist guests in making informed choices
• Ensure food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling practices are followed at all times
• Provide excellent guest relations by addressing questions or concerns promptly and professionally
• Assist with opening or closing duties as needed, including setting up or cleaning tables and workstations

Qualifications

• Previous food service experience in restaurants or hospitality environments; fine dining or nightclub experience is a plus
• Proficiency with POS systems such as Toast and Toast Table is advantageous
• Strong knowledge of beverage service, spirits, wine, and cocktail preparation
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
• Ability to upsell menu items confidently to maximize sales opportunities
• Basic math skills for processing payments accurately and managing tabs
• Demonstrated customer service skills with a friendly, energetic approach
• Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices in the food industry
• Experience in food preparation or kitchen settings is beneficial but not required
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays in a fast-paced environment

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
