PAY: $10.70/hour + tips

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems.
• Process sales transactions efficiently while handling cash, credit cards, and other payment methods
• Serve food and drinks promptly, including cocktails, spirits, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages
• Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables and assisting with food handling and preparation as needed
• Ensure guest satisfaction by addressing concerns promptly and providing personalized recommendations based on guest preferences

Skills

• Extensive experience with POS systems
• Strong knowledge of beverage service, cocktail mixing, wine varieties, spirits, and drink presentation
• Proven ability in food service roles within fine dining or casual restaurant settings
• Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and hospitality
• Effective time management to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
• Basic math skills for processing transactions accurately and managing cash handling responsibilities
• Familiarity with food safety standards, sanitation practices, and food industry regulations
• Ability to upsell menu items confidently to maximize sales opportunities
• Knowledge of restaurant operations including serving etiquette, bussing procedures, and food preparation basics
