Duties

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their visit
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable
• Process sales transactions efficiently, including cash handling and credit card payments
• Serve food and beverages promptly, including cocktails, spirits, wine, and non-alcoholic drinks, ensuring proper presentation and quality
• Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and adhering to food safety protocols
• Assist with food preparation or kitchen support when needed in a fast-paced environment
• Manage guest relations by addressing inquiries, resolving concerns promptly, and ensuring overall satisfaction
• Support bar service with drink mixing, spirits knowledge, and cocktail preparation in fine dining or nightlife settings
• Handle all aspects of guest service with professionalism, courtesy, and enthusiasm to foster a welcoming atmosphere

Qualifications

• Previous food service or restaurant experience preferred; experience in fine dining or nightlife is a plus
• Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable for order processing and sales transactions
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and handle diverse needs
• Demonstrated ability in food handling, sanitation practices, and food safety standards
• Knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail mixing, and beverage service techniques
• Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy periods
• Ability to perform basic math accurately for billing and cash handling purposes
• Experience with upselling techniques to maximize sales opportunities
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or holidays as required in a fast-paced hospitality environment
