Job Summary

We are seeking an energetic and attentive Server to join our dynamic hospitality team. As a vital member of our restaurant, you will deliver exceptional guest experiences by providing friendly, efficient service and ensuring every guest feels valued and satisfied. Your role will involve taking orders, serving food and beverages, and creating a welcoming atmosphere that encourages repeat visits. Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and assist with seating arrangements to ensure a positive first impression
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
• Serve food, beverages, and cocktails with professionalism, including spirits and wine service, ensuring proper presentation and guest satisfaction
• Process sales transactions efficiently while handling cash, credit cards, and other payment methods accurately
• Upsell menu items, specials, and beverages to enhance the guest experience and increase sales revenue
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in accordance with food safety regulations, including proper food handling and sanitation practices
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and resolve any guest concerns promptly
• Assist with bussing tables, resetting stations, and supporting host/hostess duties as needed to keep the dining area organized and welcoming
• Demonstrate excellent guest relations by providing attentive service, addressing inquiries, and fostering a hospitable environment

Requirements

• Previous food service experience in restaurants or hospitality settings; fine dining or nightclub experience is a plus
• Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; experience with OpenTable is advantageous
• Culinary experience or familiarity with food preparation enhances your ability to serve confidently
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
• Ability to process cash transactions accurately while maintaining attention to detail
• Knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail preparation, and beverage service techniques
• Demonstrated customer service skills with a friendly attitude and strong guest relations abilities
• Basic math skills for handling bills, tips, and sales transactions
• Commitment to food safety standards including proper sanitation, alcohol service regulations, and food handling procedures
• Flexibility to work nights, OVERNIGHTS, weekends, or holidays as required in a fast-paced restaurant environment
