Job Summary

M's Pub is seeking a friendly and attentive Server to provide excellent dining service in a busy downtown Omaha restaurant. The Server will take orders, serve food and beverages, maintain accurate guest checks, and help create a welcoming dining experience from arrival through departure.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests promptly and provide professional, attentive service.
• Explain menu items, specials, and beverage selections when requested.
• Accurately take food and beverage orders and enter them into the POS system.
• Deliver food and drinks efficiently while checking for guest satisfaction.
• Monitor assigned tables and respond promptly to additional requests.
• Maintain clean, organized, and properly set tables throughout each shift.
• Coordinate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure orders are accurate and timely.
• Process guest checks and payments accurately.
• Handle guest concerns professionally and involve management when necessary.
• Complete opening, closing, and side-work duties as assigned.
• Follow restaurant sanitation, food-safety, and service standards.

Qualifications

• Previous serving, restaurant, hospitality, or customer-service experience is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Friendly, professional, and guest-focused attitude.
• Ability to manage multiple tables and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Good knowledge of food and beverage service.
• Ability to use POS systems and handle payments accurately.
• Reliable attendance and strong teamwork skills.
• Availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

M's Pub is a locally owned restaurant in Omaha's historic Old Market at 422 S. 11th Street. Established in 1973, M's Pub is known for chef-driven food, a creative wine selection, and a historic, cozy atmosphere. The restaurant serves lunch, dinner, drinks, takeout, and special dining experiences.

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 28.0 per week
