Server

This is an authentic Italian Restaurant, we are looking for a server to work 3 night per week (you get the tips of your tables, no messing around with your money) ;).

There is the possibility to also do more days in situations like lunch time and nights when the onwner of the restaurant goes to Italy for a week or so every month/month and a half.

Your role is vital in creating memorable moments for our guests while ensuring smooth operations behind the scenes. Duties

• Greet guests warmly and guide them through the menu, highlighting specials and upselling opportunities to enhance their experience
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring timely delivery
• Serve food, beverages, cocktails, and spirits with professionalism and attention to detail, maintaining high standards of presentation and safety
• Process cash transactions and credit card payments efficiently while managing sales transactions accurately
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in accordance with food safety regulations and restaurant policies
• Assist with food preparation when needed and collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure order accuracy and timely service
• Engage with guests to foster positive relationships, handle inquiries or complaints promptly, and promote guest satisfaction

Qualifications

• Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, preferably with fine dining or nightclub experience
• Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic approach to guest relations
• Ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts while multitasking seamlessly
• Knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail preparation, and beverage service techniques including OpenTable reservations management
• Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately and processing sales efficiently
• Culinary experience or food industry background is highly desirable for understanding menu items and food handling procedures
• Food safety certification and sanitation training preferred but not required

Pay: $17.00 - $17.01 per hour

Expected hours: 12.0 – 26.0 per week
