Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and professional Server to join our dynamic team in delivering exceptional guest experiences. This role involves providing attentive service, taking orders, and ensuring guests enjoy a memorable dining experience in a fine dining or casual restaurant setting. Prior experience with POS systems and food industry standards is highly valued.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their visit
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems
• Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
• Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining presentation standards
• Ensure proper food handling, sanitation, and safety protocols are followed at all times
• Assist with bussing tables, cleaning, and resetting for new guests as needed
• Handle cash transactions accurately and process payments efficiently
• Maintain a clean and organized work station in compliance with sanitation regulations
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and guest satisfaction
• Provide guest relations by addressing inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and creating a welcoming atmosphere

Experience

• Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments preferred, especially in fine dining or hospitality settings but training is provided
• Familiarity with POS systems is advantageous
• Experience with food safety standards, food handling, and sanitation practices required
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to manage guest relations professionally
• Knowledge of the food industry including food preparation, serving techniques, and beverage service
• Ability to multitask effectively while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
• Basic math skills for cash handling and billing purposes
