SERVER – Potential Shift Leader Opportunity

Shang Artisan Noodle is seeking a dedicated and motivated candidate to join our Downtown team as a Server, with the potential opportunity to grow into a Shift Leader position.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about providing excellent customer service and thrives in a fast-paced, casual dining environment. The successful candidate will receive consistent training designed to build confidence, strengthen service skills, and prepare them for continued growth within our company.

Position Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, attentive, and professional service to every guest.
• Take orders accurately and ensure a positive dining experience.
• Communicate effectively with server assistants, kitchen staff, management, and other team members.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the dining area.
• Follow all company service standards, policies, and procedures.
• Handle multiple responsibilities efficiently during busy periods.
• Maintain a positive and professional attitude while working under pressure.
• Assist teammates as needed to ensure smooth restaurant operations.

Other Responsibilities:

• Take food and drink orders from customers accurately and with a positive attitude.
• Engage with customers in a friendly manner.
• Full knowledge of the menu with the ability to make suggestions.
• Ensure tables are enjoying their meals and take action to correct any problems.
• Collect payments from tables.
• Pack to-go orders correctly and efficiently
• Greet customers and provide excellent customer service
• Manage the waitlist via Yelp and seating the customers accordingly
• Understand and operate the POS system to take orders, process payments and manage orders accurately and efficiently
• Follow company policies and procedures when handling cash, credit, and debit card payments
• Full knowledge of the menu, answering any inquiries and providing product information
• Answer phone calls from customers for general questions and take-out orders
• Maintain a clean, stocked, and organized kiosk area (s)
• Working effectively with the entire team to complete tasks/duties
• Helping out with other positions in the restaurant as needed

More Qualifications:

• Require at least 2 years of server experience
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks effectively
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail
• Basic math skills for accurate cash handling
• Organizational and multi-tasking skills to maintain a neat and orderly checkout area and to-go area
• Proof of eligibility to work in the United States
• Must be over 21 years of age
• Must be able to stand and walk for majority of shift
• Have interpersonal skills to deal effectively with all business contacts/inquiries
• Professional appearance and demeanor
• Able to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays
• Able to obtain/maintain any necessary licenses and/or certifications

Compensation and additional information:

• $12/Hour + Tips ($80 - $200Per day)
• Bi-weekly paycheck
• 20-30 hours a week guaranteed
