Duties

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their dining experience
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Micros POS, ensuring quick and correct entry
• Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of food handling and sanitation
• Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
• Manage cash handling responsibilities accurately, including cashiering and processing payments
• Ensure food safety standards are met by following proper food preparation, sanitation, and hygiene procedures
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate timely food delivery and address guest needs promptly
• Maintain cleanliness of tables, service stations, and dining areas to uphold a welcoming environment
• Assist with basic math calculations for billing, change, and inventory when needed
• Provide excellent guest services by addressing questions or concerns professionally and courteously

Skills

• Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments with strong guest service skills
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS for order entry and cashiering tasks
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently in a fast-paced setting
• Knowledge of food handling, sanitation practices, and food safety regulations within the food industry
• Ability to perform basic math accurately for transactions and inventory management
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members
• Experience with upselling techniques to enhance guest experience and increase sales potential
• Kitchen experience or understanding of food preparation processes is a plus
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a hospitality team while maintaining a positive attitude
