We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Server to join our vibrant hospitality team. Your role is vital in creating memorable moments for our guests while ensuring smooth operations behind the scenes. Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and guide them to their tables with a friendly demeanor.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring all special requests are noted.
• Serve food and drinks promptly, maintaining high standards of presentation and quality.
• Upsell menu items including wines, spirits, cocktails, and specialty dishes to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales.
• Process cash and card transactions efficiently while handling cash handling responsibilities with accuracy.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in dining areas, including bussing tables and resetting for new guests.
• Provide knowledgeable recommendations on wine pairings, cocktail options, and menu items to elevate the dining experience.
• Assist with food preparation or kitchen support as needed during busy periods.
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures at all times.
• Foster positive guest relations by addressing questions or concerns promptly and professionally.

Requirements

• Previous food service experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is highly preferred; fine dining or nightclub experience is a plus.
• Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; experience with OpenTable is advantageous.
• Strong knowledge of beverage service including spirits, wine, cocktails, and drink presentation techniques.
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during peak hours.
• Ability to upsell menu items confidently to maximize sales opportunities.
• Basic math skills for processing transactions accurately and managing cash handling responsibilities.
• Demonstrated customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude that enhances guest satisfaction.
• Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures.
• Hospitality background including serving, bussing, host/hostess duties or cashiering is beneficial.
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays in a fast-paced environment.
