Duties

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their visit
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable
• Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining presentation standards
• Upsell menu items including cocktails, wines, spirits, and specialty dishes to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales
• Process cash and credit transactions efficiently, ensuring accuracy in sales and change handling
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in dining areas, bar stations, and service stations
• Assist with food handling, food preparation support, bussing tables, and supporting kitchen staff when needed
• Demonstrate extensive beverage knowledge including spirits, wine pairings, cocktail recipes, and drink service techniques
• Foster positive guest relations by addressing inquiries or concerns promptly and professionally

Requirements

• Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments; fine dining or nightclub experience is a plus
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms
• Strong knowledge of beverage service including spirits, wine knowledge, cocktail preparation, and drink presentation
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally
• Ability to handle cash transactions accurately while processing sales efficiently
• Basic math skills for bill calculation and change processing
• Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices in the food industry
• Culinary experience or food industry background is preferred but not required
• Ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts while maintaining high-quality service standards
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed in a fast-paced environment
