Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and guide them to their tables with a positive attitude.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS (Point of Sale) systems, including Micros POS, ensuring all special requests are noted.
• Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality.
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering and cash handling duties, while providing clear receipts.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of tables, utensils, and service areas in compliance with food safety standards.
• Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities through effective suggestive selling.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery, supporting overall restaurant operations.

Skills

• Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments with a strong understanding of the food industry.
• Familiarity with POS systems, especially Micros POS, for efficient order processing and cashiering.
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy hours without compromising service quality.
• Knowledge of food handling, sanitation, and safety regulations to ensure guest health and safety.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and courteously.
• Basic math skills for accurate bill calculation, change handling, and inventory management.
• Experience in food preparation or kitchen operations is a plus but not mandatory; hospitality background is preferred.
