Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable
• Process sales transactions efficiently, including cash handling and credit card payments
• Upsell menu items like specialty cocktails, wine, spirits, and desserts to enhance guest experience and increase sales
• Serve food and drinks promptly, ensuring proper presentation and adherence to food safety standards
• Assist with food handling, sanitation, bussing tables, and maintaining cleanliness in dining areas
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and resolve any service issues quickly
• Demonstrate knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail recipes, and beverage service techniques to educate guests and elevate their experience
• Manage multiple tables effectively through excellent time management skills in fast-paced settings such as fine dining or nightclubs
• Support guest relations by addressing inquiries professionally and ensuring overall satisfaction

Requirements

• Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments; fine dining or nightclub experience is a plus
• Familiarity with POS systems including Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms
• Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and energetic approach to hospitality
• Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and process sales efficiently
• Knowledge of food safety protocols, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures
• Basic math skills for order calculations, tipping, and processing payments
• Beverage knowledge including wine types, spirits, cocktail mixing, and drink presentation techniques
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to upsell menu items confidently
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed in a lively restaurant or nightlife setting

Pay: $20.00 - $40.00 per hour
