Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their visit
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring prompt processing of sales transactions
• Serve food and drinks efficiently, including cocktails, spirits, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages, maintaining high standards of presentation and safety
• Upsell menu items by recommending popular dishes and beverages to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales
• Manage cash handling responsibilities accurately, including processing payments and giving correct change
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all service areas, adhering to food safety regulations
• Collaborate with kitchen staff and bartenders to ensure timely delivery of orders and resolve any guest concerns promptly

Qualifications

• Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, including fine dining or nightclub settings
• Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, and OpenTable for efficient order processing
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport and handle guest relations professionally
• Knowledge of beverage service, including spirits, wine, cocktail preparation, and drink presentation
• Ability to manage multiple tables or orders simultaneously through effective time management and organization skills
• Basic math skills for processing sales transactions accurately and handling cash responsibly
• Food handling certification and understanding of sanitation practices required by health regulations
• Previous experience with food preparation or kitchen operations is a plus but not mandatory

Pay: $45.00 - $70.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20.0 – 40.0 per week
