Duties

• Greet guests warmly with genuine hospitality, making them feel comfortable from the moment they arrive
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Micros POS, ensuring clarity and attention to detail
• Serve food and drinks promptly, maintaining high standards of presentation and quality
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering and cash handling responsibilities
• Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by adhering to food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures
• Assist in food preparation when necessary, supporting kitchen staff to ensure timely service
• Manage time effectively during busy periods through excellent time management skills, balancing multiple tables seamlessly
• Provide outstanding guest services by addressing questions, special requests, or concerns with professionalism and enthusiasm

Skills

• Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, demonstrating familiarity with the food industry standards
• Strong customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
• Knowledge of POS systems such as Micros POS for order entry and transaction processing
• Excellent time management abilities to prioritize tasks efficiently during high-volume shifts
• Basic math skills for accurate cash handling, billing, and checkout processes
• Understanding of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling techniques
• Experience with food preparation and kitchen operations is a plus
• Ability to upsell menu items confidently to enhance guest experience and restaurant revenue
• Effective communication skills for collaborating with team members and engaging with guests
