Duties

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their visit
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
• Process sales transactions efficiently while handling cash, credit cards, and digital payments
• Upsell menu items including wines, spirits, cocktails, and specialty dishes to enhance guest experience
• Serve food and drinks promptly, ensuring proper presentation and adherence to food safety standards
• Maintain cleanliness by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and assisting with sanitation practices
• Manage guest relations by addressing inquiries, resolving concerns promptly, and ensuring satisfaction
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and high-quality service
• Utilize reservation systems like OpenTable to manage bookings and optimize seating arrangements
• Demonstrate knowledge of wine pairings, spirits, cocktail recipes, and food handling procedures

Experience

• Previous food service experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is highly preferred
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus
• Experience in fine dining or nightclub environments enhances your ability to serve diverse clientele
• Strong skills in time management, multitasking, and sales upselling are essential for success
• Knowledge of food safety protocols, sanitation standards, and proper beverage service techniques is required
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude and guest-focused approach are vital
• Basic math skills for processing transactions accurately and efficiently are necessary
• Culinary experience or beverage expertise—including wine knowledge and spirits experience—will set you apart

Pay: From $2.13 per hour
