Duties

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring timely delivery
• Upsell menu items including wines, spirits, cocktails, and specialty dishes to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales
• Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness
• Process cash and credit card transactions accurately, handling cash handling and cashiering responsibilities with integrity
• Maintain sanitation standards by adhering to food safety regulations, proper food handling procedures, and cleanliness protocols
• Assist with bussing tables, resetting dining areas quickly during busy periods, and supporting kitchen staff when needed

Qualifications

• Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments; fine dining or nightclub experience is a plus
• Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; familiarity with OpenTable is advantageous
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude and the ability to build guest relations
• Ability to multitask effectively with strong time management skills in a fast-paced setting
• Knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail preparation, and beverage service techniques including drink mixing and presentation
• Basic math skills for processing sales transactions accurately and managing cash handling duties
• Understanding of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
• Previous experience in hospitality roles such as host/hostess or bartender is beneficial

Pay: $11.50 - $12.50 per hour
