Server

Handlebar J is one of Scottsdale’s original live music, food, and nightlife destinations. We are building a stronger front-of-house team and looking for experienced servers who are confident, personable, fast, and genuinely good with people.

This is a high-energy restaurant and live music environment. Our servers need to be able to manage a busy section, communicate with the kitchen and bar, know the menu, anticipate guest needs, and keep service moving without losing hospitality.

We want people who take pride in giving great service and understand that being a strong server means more than taking orders.

What we are looking for

• Previous full-service restaurant or high-volume serving experience
• Strong hospitality and customer service skills
• Ability to confidently manage multiple tables during busy service
• Comfortable recommending food and drinks and guiding the guest experience
• Strong communication and teamwork
• Ability to stay organized and composed under pressure
• Experience with Toast POS preferred
• Willingness to run food, pre-bus, reset tables, stock, clean, and help teammates when needed
• Reliable attendance and punctuality
• Availability for evenings, weekends, live music nights, and special events
• Current Arizona Food Handler certification required
• Current Arizona Title 4 certification required
