Duties

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their dining experience
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS (Point of Sale) systems ensuring quick and correct entry
• Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining presentation standards and food safety guidelines
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering duties and cash handling responsibilities
• Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by adhering to food handling, sanitation, and food safety protocols
• Assist in basic food preparation or setup as needed to support kitchen operations and ensure timely service
• Manage time effectively to serve multiple tables efficiently during busy periods

Skills

• Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments with strong guest service skills
• Familiarity with POS systems, for efficient order processing and cashiering
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced setting
• Knowledge of food handling, sanitation, and safety regulations within the food industry
• Ability to perform basic math for billing, change calculation, and order accuracy
• Strong communication skills to interact positively with guests and team members
• Experience with food preparation or kitchen operations is a plus for supporting overall restaurant flow
• Demonstrated hospitality mindset with a focus on creating welcoming guest experiences
• Ability to upsell menu items confidently to enhance guest satisfaction and revenue
