Duties

• Greet guests warmly and assist with seating arrangements to foster a welcoming environment
• Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality
• Handle cash transactions accurately, process payments, and give correct change using POS systems like OpenTable or other restaurant software
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and adhering to food safety protocols
• Provide knowledgeable recommendations on menu items to elevate guest satisfaction

Qualifications

• Previous food service or restaurant experience is preferred
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and courteously
• Effective time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
• Basic math skills for processing sales transactions accurately and managing cash handling responsibilities
• Experience with food handling, sanitation practices, and food safety standards in the food industry
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
