Luna & The Bear - Kitchen & Libation House is seeking a friendly, dependable, and customer-focused Restaurant Server to provide attentive service and support daily dining operations. This role involves welcoming guests, taking food and beverage orders, delivering items accurately, answering menu questions, and helping create a comfortable and enjoyable dining experience. The ideal candidate is professional, attentive to detail, and comfortable working in a busy restaurant and bar environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome guests and provide friendly, attentive, and professional service.
• Present menus and answer general questions about food, beverages, and restaurant offerings.
• Take food and beverage orders accurately and communicate them clearly to kitchen and bar staff.
• Enter orders into the POS system and confirm order details.
• Deliver food and beverages to guests promptly and accurately.
• Monitor tables throughout the meal and respond to guest requests.
• Check on guests regularly and help ensure a positive dining experience.
• Process payments and assist with routine guest checkout requests.
• Maintain clean and organized tables, dining areas, and service stations.
• Restock napkins, utensils, glassware, condiments, and other service supplies.
• Communicate special requests, allergies, and other guest needs appropriately to the restaurant team.
• Assist with opening, closing, and routine restaurant duties.
• Follow food-safety, sanitation, cleanliness, and workplace procedures.
• Work cooperatively with servers, hosts, bartenders, kitchen staff, and management.

Qualifications

• Previous server, restaurant, café, hospitality, or customer-service experience is helpful.
• Friendly, professional, and respectful approach to guests.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Reliable, punctual, and responsible.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
• Good attention to order accuracy and service details.
• Able to manage multiple tables and customer requests efficiently.
• Familiarity with POS systems is helpful.
• Willingness to learn menu items and restaurant service procedures.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
