Duties

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their dining experience
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring clear communication with kitchen staff
• Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining presentation standards, including cocktails, wine, spirits, and non-alcoholic beverages
• Process sales transactions efficiently, handling cash, credit cards, and digital payments with precision
• Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and adhering to food safety protocols
• Assist with food handling, preparation support when needed, and ensure proper food safety practices are followed

Qualifications

• Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, including fine dining or nightclub settings
• Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; experience with OpenTable is a plus
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude
• Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment while multitasking seamlessly
• Knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail preparation, and beverage service techniques
• Basic math skills for processing payments accurately and handling cash transactions
• Culinary experience or food industry background is advantageous
• Familiarity with food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
• Previous host/hostess or serving experience preferred; experience in hospitality or guest relations highly valued

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
